Afternoon Tea Update

Just letting everyone know how much we raised for

the Fiveloaves Homeless Charity in Bray.

Afternoon Tea, Donations and Raffle €1130.00

plus €76.00 was made from Hat Auction.

so total was €1206.00

Afternoon Tea At Fernleigh, Kilcoole, In Aid of The Five Loaves Charity in Bray.

A Truly Scrumptious Afternoon Tea 2.00 to 4.00
served in beautiful Vintage China
Raffle will take place about 4.15

This is our 2nd event to raise money for the Wh Five Loaves
Which is an amazing charity in Bray
our craft group have been supporting them since May 2014
and are delighted to have raised €5186.29 for them so far.
I have a beautiful elegant day planned for everyone.
and all we need now is beautiful weather.

Beautiful little handmade bouquet, in a Paper cone

with Guipure lace collar and ruffle,

This is an idea I took from the little boutonniere

the Belgian detective Hercule Poirot wears on this collar,

in every episode,

I taught this a few years ago. and still love it.

Hi Yvonne, Unfortunately I was only there all day Saturday but I enjoyed it so much. It was the best value I've got in a long time. Love all my goodies!!! All the ladies were truly lovely and I hope to meet with them again very soon. Roberta is an absolute gem. I will be keeping an eye out for your next class. You are so full of inspiration and I thank you so so much Edel X.

Thanks again Yvonne and Roberta for an amazing weekend, you ladies thought of everything! we were really happy with the hotel the location, accommodation, food, entertainment, the company the laugh and the value for money. The classes were fantastic as usual lots of inspiration and at a great price, my two personal favourites are the communion boxed card and the white and silver card with roses..... Can't wait for September but hopefully I'll see you all before then. Nicola xx

Hi Yvonne, hope you have recovered from a brilliant week-end. Josie and I really did enjoy it. It was great to meet you, Roberta and all the ladies. You and the ladies we met were so helpful and accommodating and we did learn a lot. The venue was brilliant , food excellent, staff helpful and rooms v comfortable. The' more support table' was brilliant and we are grateful to you and all for your sharing, assistance and advice to us.
The music and singing was purely so enjoyable . It is an understatement to say we got more than than what was paid for, real value for money. It was a pleasure to meet you and view your experience, passion and commitment to craft and crafters. I hope to join your day and maybe the next week-end dates permitting.

It was absolutely fantastic to be there for the day on Saturday and would have loved if I could have been free for the whole weekend.The cards are so unique and beautiful.My only comment Yvonne was that while the Tea party one is just spectacular , there was a huge amount of work in it and I struggled with its detail. Maybe if lunch was a half hour shorter and we could resume that bit sooner to give more time to such an amazing work of art. Only a suggestion Yvonne. Anne x

Yvonne, thanks for organising a great weekend of crafting (no kids to join in). Thoroughly enjoyed it, even though a novice at card making.

The presentation and demonstration were great - well done you! and having the kits already prepared was an extra bonus. (Other craft tutors take note!)

The company was wonderful too - I feel very lucky to have been in the company of such fun, positive women all at once. There was a genuine love of craft there and I enjoyed that there was a helping hand, hints and tips whenever you needed it, and absolutely no competitiveness. Lovely people.

I will definitely finish the cards I have yet to complete, will send the ones I did manage to finish and hopefully the recipients will enjoy these works of art as much as I enjoyed making them.
